Our history

Growing from humble roots into a global leader

Croft was founded with a mission to support sustainable farming.

We founded Croft on the mission to make greenhouse cultivation more stable, efficient, and accessible. What began as an academic effort to better understand plant behavior evolved into an AI-powered system built with the support of world-class agronomists and greenhouse experts. Today, Croft supports growers across multiple regions, helping them operate smarter, reduce risk, and grow with confidence.

Developed AI-driven crop-health vision tools, improving growth prediction.

We introduced our early adaptive climate system, combining grower intuition with plant-scanning AI volumetric modeling. These first deployments demonstrated that data-guided control could stabilize crops and improve results by unifying both plant-based feedback and intelligent greenhouse automation technologies.

AI-assisted environmental controls improved in overseas greenhouses.

As our platform matured, we expanded internationally, partnering with growers and innovators in China and the Netherlands. This connected us with diverse greenhouse environments, helping refine our models and adapt Croft’s intelligence to different crops, climates, and cultivation challenges.
